Following the publication of the Curriculum and Assessment Review Final Report and the associated government response, future assessment arrangements are under review in line with the relevant recommendations. Assessment arrangements for the academic year 2025 to 2026 will remain unchanged.
This assessment framework specifies the purpose, format, content and cognitive demand of the MTC.
The framework is primarily for those who write assessment materials, and guides the assessment development and construction. It is available to a wider audience for openness and transparency. This framework is for use from 2019 and beyond.
