On 6 May 2016, Mountain Training England (MTE) gave Ofqual an undertaking which sets out steps it will take to secure compliance with our ‘General Conditions of Recognition’. Specifically:

  • B3.1 Notification to Ofqual of certain events

MTE has undertaken to carry out a number of actions affecting its approach to notifying Ofqual of certain events, including:

  • updating its process for notifying Ofqual of events which may have adverse effects
  • training their staff in the updated process

In line with general condition B8, MTE must now take all the steps identified in the undertaking. We may take further action if it does not follow through on its commitments.
