Detail

As part of it’s ambitions to ensure the UK has the best superfast broadband network in Europe by 2015, the Government is committed to reducing the barriers to investment and lowering the cost of deployment.

This advice note to local authorities and communications providers offers practical advice on the use of microtrenching as a deployment technique for superfast broadband, and the coordination of streetworks and application of permit schemes.
