BEIS accepts Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) advice to release undertakings for 2 past merger cases under the Fair Trading Act 1973.

Details

On 30 January 2017 the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) published advice to the Secretary of State for Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). The CMA recommended that he agree to release the undertakings given in two past merger cases under the Fair Trading Act 1973. In this letter the Secretary of State accepted the advice and agrees to release the undertakings.
