Details

This memorandum of understanding (MOU) establishes liaison arrangements between the commission and the Regulator of Community Interest Companies to:

  • ensure appropriate consultation and co-ordination of action when a charitable company proposes to convert to a community interest company (CIC), or when a CIC proposes to convert to a charitable company
  • promote appropriate and effective regulation of the company, and property held by it, after conversion has taken place
