This annex sets out the 13 successful projects as part of the Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plans Competition (LIDP) programme. See the published plans.

Bradford Manufacturing Futures	£726,729	‘Manufacturing Futures’ is a local initiative planning a collaborative, progressive and investible approach to decarbonisation. This project engaged with 5 Local Clusters of manufacturing companies within the Bradford district, totalling 52% of the district’s CO2 emissions, including some of the highest emitting sectors. Their work with specialist consultants created Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plans, profiling the existing activity, developing best practice company plans and mapping and assessing decarbonisation master plans.
DECODE-CORBY	£453,590	DECODE-CORBY aimed to revolutionise the steel and manufacturing community in Corby, Northamptonshire. The project explored innovate ways for industry clusters to access shared waste heat, optimise grid capacity costs, and harness the power of large-scale renewable generation in grid constrained areas. DECODE-CORBY aimed to embrace circular economy principles, promote supply chain efficiencies, and foster industrial symbiosis.
Decarbonising Dalton Industrial Estate	£129,603	This project aimed to develop a credible and actionable route to net zero for Dalton Industrial Estate, a multi-business mixed use industrial site in North Yorkshire comprised of large industrial users and smaller businesses. The plan will include detailed assessments of power, heat, transport, resource and natural capital needs for every business on site and proposed an action plan to take each business to net zero.
Decarbonising the Midlands Aerospace Cluster (DMAC)	£444,739	The Midlands aerospace cluster is a significant contributor to the Midlands economy, and to the UK aerospace industry. This project aimed to create and develop the first credible place-based industrial decarbonisation plan for an aerospace manufacturing cluster. It aimed to do this by engaging with key players along aerospace supply chains in the Midlands region to identify the key manufacturing processes and operations that contribute to greenhouse gas emissions and engage with local expertise to assist with the assessment of proposed solutions.
Decarbonising the Port of Poole Maritime Industrial Cluster	£184,487	This project aimed to deliver an ambitious decarbonisation plan for the Port of Poole Maritime Industrial Cluster centred on the Port of Poole estate. The aim of this project was to develop a common vision for decarbonisation for the Cluster within a detailed strategy and roadmap with clear targets. Brought together businesses operating on the Port of Poole estate, the Port of Poole Maritime Industrial Cluster committed to supporting Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050, in line with both national and international climate targets set by the UK Government and the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).
Industrial Decarbonisation for Northern Ireland (ID-NI)	£595,905	This project aimed to take an innovative dual-approach to address carbon reduction in Northern Ireland (NI), providing businesses with support, advice, tools, and metrics to enable NI industry to increase productivity whilst, at the same time, reducing emissions.
Making A Better Tomorrow: Decarbonisation of Stakehill Industrial Estate in Atom Valley	£612,376	This project aimed to leverage the existing Stakehill Business Improvement District (BID) to decarbonise  Stakehill Industrial Estate. Experts will develop a strategic plan that will support realising Greater Manchester’s ambitions to be net zero by 2038, and make Stakehill a model for decarbonisation.
North East Wales Industrial Decarbonisation (NEW-ID)	£711,784	The Net Zero Industry Wales Members are committed to transition towards producing more sustainable goods & services in Wales, at pace needed to meet the legally binding targets. This project aimed to build on the momentum gained within the Deeside Decarbonisation Forum and the Net Zero Wales initiative, to increase collaboration, strengthen decarbonisation planning skills and enable development of organisational structures for place-based decarbonisation, within 2 clean growth hubs: - the Deeside Clean Growth Hub, Flintshire - the Wrexham Clean Growth Hub
North Kent	£346,992	This project aimed to deliver a collaborative and progressive carbon reduction programme for the consortium, both individually and as a whole, in addition to identifying new skills and knowledge, and to accelerate the progression of carbon reduction for the benefit of the region and wider UK. These plans will be shared and implemented through a diverse and extensive network of sites owned and operated by the partners, both nationally and internationally, as well as through regional and international academic alliances. The project processes and outcomes will be communicated to wider planning, regulatory and interested stakeholders through broader dissemination activities e.g. conference, training events, social media.
Shoreham Port Industrial Cluster: Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plan	£226,803	This project was a collaboration to create a credible and measurable Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plan for the cluster of Shoreham Port, which is an established industrial cluster with 175 businesses based on the 110-acre estate. It aims to reduce emissions and improving local air quality.
Solent Cluster Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plan	£757,601	This project aimed to expand on decarbonisation work already being delivered in the Solent. The Solent Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plan (SLIDP) will focus on manufacturing, and is needed to leverage resources to bring wider benefits to further Solent industries. Emitters will have access to CO2 transport and storage infrastructure and low-carbon hydrogen production being developed in the Solent, and the SLIDP will inform how each project partner can benefit from this and other low-carbon infrastructure.
West of England Industrial Cluster Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plan (WCIDP)	£607,571	This project aimed to create a comprehensive strategy to decarbonise industry in the West of England. As well as developing a decarbonisation strategy, LIDP funding  allowed WCIDP to identify and connect existing projects and initiatives, and unite public and private sector stakeholders ensuring the social, economic and environmental benefits of decarbonisation are fully realised.
ZCOP I-RMAP: Zero Carbon Oxford Partnership Industrial Roadmap and Action Plan	£265,032	This project  assessed industrial emissions, develop robust plans for focused stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and awareness raising, review potential technology options, model decarbonisation pathways, and critically assess surrounding barriers. This was combined into an evidence-based I-RMAP and recommendations, with a pipeline of projects and actions to be implemented by the Cluster.​
