This guidance applies to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) in England and Wales.

It has been prepared to assist administering authorities and asset pool companies in the LGPS in England and Wales in the formulation, publication and maintenance of the Investment Strategy Statement (ISS) as required by Part 4 of the Local Government Pension Scheme (Pooling, Management and Investment of Funds) Regulations 2026.
