This guidance applies to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) in England and Wales.

It has been prepared to assist administering authorities and asset pool companies in the LGPS in England and Wales to comply with the requirements of the Local Government Pension Scheme (Amendment) (Governance) Regulations 2026.
