Details

This report presents findings from the evaluation of single leg pricing (SLP) and the Simpler Fares (SF) trial on London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) passenger services.

The report assesses the impact of both SLP and SF fare changes on:

  • revenue
  • demand
  • passenger experience

It provides evidence to inform rail fares and ticketing reform.

The publication was produced by SYSTRA on behalf of the Department for Transport (DfT).

This report follows on from a previous evaluation focusing on revenue impacts throughout the LNER single leg pricing trial.
