Letter to ACMD regarding advice on MT-45 and 4,4'-DMAR

Crime prevention minister writes to the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs to accept their recommendation to control these 2 drugs as Class A drugs.

Letter from Lynne Featherstone to the chair of the ACMD, Les Iverson, accepts the council’s advice to designate MT-45 and 4,4’-DMAR as drugs that have no recognised legitimate or medicinal use, beyond the research sector.

MT-45 is a synthetic opioid that mimics the effects of morphine.

4,4’-DMAR is a ‘legal high’ stimulant.
