Sir David Nicholson, NHS Chief Executive, and Shaun Gallagher, Acting Director-General for Social Care, Local Government and Care Partnerships, have sent out a letter regarding the Department of Health’s review into events at Winterbourne View Hospital.

The letter, sent to PCT Cluster Chief Executives, Local Authority Chief Executives and Directors of Adult Social Services, outlines the NHS and local government response to the review, and includes a summary of the key points and actions from the review.
