Labour Market Directorate: equalities statement

Details

This statement explains how the BIS Labour Market Directorate policies adhere to the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 , and how we also carry out research into equalities issues.

Our labour market policies and programmes must be accessible to all sections of the community, and address inequalities, discrimination and unfair treatment. This includes issues for vulnerable workers, but also discrimination that hinders the operation of a flexible and inclusive labour market. It is also good practice for businesses to treat their workers fairly.
