Key stage 2: English reading test framework
Guidance for test developers on the purpose, format, content, cognitive demand and specification for the key stage 2 English reading test.
This framework is for contributors to the English reading key stage 2 national curriculum test. Key stage 2 teachers may also find it useful.
It gives detailed information to ensure an appropriate test is developed, including the:
- content domain
- cognitive domain
- test specification
This framework supports the development of the 2016 national curriculum tests.
