Details

This JSP defines and promulgates the policy, requirements and guidance for nuclear and radiological safety and environmental protection management of NWP activities. It applies to all life cycle phase and the approving and design authorities.

The JSP is split into 2 volumes:

  • volume 1 provides an introduction to the regulatory approach adopted and its application within the NWP together with setting out mandatory requirements and defining the key processes used or monitored by DNSR

  • volume 2 provides guidance to duty holders on aspects of the requirements and processes and makes visible the guidance that DNSR provides to its own staff
