A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support joint action on improving health through the home

Details

This memorandum of understanding (MoU) is between a number of government bodies and organisations in the health, social care and housing sector. It sets out:

  • a shared commitment to joint action across government, health, social care and housing sectors, in England
  • principles for joint working
  • the context and framework for cross-sector partnerships, nationally and locally
  • how to design and deliver healthy homes, communities and neighbourhoods
  • how to design and deliver integrated and effective services that meet the needs of individuals, carers and families
  • a shared action plan
