Details

This document contains guidance for inspectors on how to prepare for, and conduct, inspections of childminder agencies.

It also contains the evaluation schedule for inspectors on judging the effectiveness of the childminder agency and sets out the main types of evidence inspectors will collect and analyse.

A draft document was published in January 2016. A version updated for feedback from the sector was published in June 2016. It has minor changes for clarity and to emphasise the regulatory role of a childminder agency.
