Details

The Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem) skills and capability Review considers how Ofgem can strengthen the skills and capabilities it needs to regulate effectively in a rapidly changing and increasingly complex energy system. The review formed part of the government’s Regulation Action Plan and its programme of expert-led reviews to help regulators tackle challenges and seize opportunities to promote growth.

The review was commissioned in response to a recommendation from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero’s wider review of Ofgem. The review’s findings and recommendations will inform Ofgem’s Cultural and Capability Transformation Plan.
