To achieve the vision set out in the government’s plan to ensure regulators and regulation support growth, the government committed to strengthening the model of accountability to enhance regulator performance and ensure regulation is proportionate. To support this vision, the government will be delivering independent expert performance reviews of key regulators to tackle challenges and barriers that prevent growth.
