Details

These undertakings were given under the monopoly provisions of the Fair Trading Act 1973. They apply to wrapped Impulse ice cream products.

They stop Birds Eye Wall’s, Mars UK Limited and Nestle UK Limited from limiting the ability of the retailers they supply, to acquire and sell competing suppliers’ products. Birds Eye Wall’s additionally undertook not to prevent the retailers they supply from stocking competitors’ products in Birds Eye Wall’s-supplied freezers.
