Use form C104A to declare your private vehicle if you're moving residence from outside the EC to the UK.
If you’re moving to the UK and qualify for transfer of residence relief, you won’t pay VAT or duty if you import your private vehicle from outside the EC.
To claim VAT and duty relief on your private vehicle, fill in form C104A and give it to customs when you enter the country.
