This report is a compilation of all available data from the UK human volunteer plutonium biokinetic studies.

The report includes:

• data from three studies of plutonium absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion
• references to the published work where these study results are analysed

The report gathers together data from these studies but does not review their findings.

It should be used as a reference for protecting workers and the public from the potential health effects of plutonium exposures.
