HS2 Phase One environmental statement volume 5: sound, noise and vibration

Published 25 November 2013

These documents have been published as part of the HS2 Phase One environmental statement for the route between London and the West Midlands. The environmental statement was produced to accompany the HS2 Phase One hybrid Bill.

This appendix:

  • sets out the baseline noise levels used in the assessment and describes how they have been determined
  • sets out the detailed assessment of significant construction and operational noise and vibration effects
  • contains maps that support and report the assessment of significant noise and vibration effects
