Details

This report contains an assessment of any new or different likely significant environmental effects which could result from a change in alignment of the route within the statutory limits of deviation.

The works for HS2 Phase 2a have defined limits of deviation which are shown on the Parliamentary plans and sections, and described in the proposed Bill. The limits of deviation enable HS2 Phase 2a to be moved slightly (vertically or horizontally) from the centre line of the route, as may be required following detailed design.

This content has been published as part of the HS2 Phase 2a environmental statement for the route between the West Midlands and Crewe. The environmental statement was produced to accompany the HS2 Phase 2a hybrid Bill.
