From 1 September 2023, the universal and MSM human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination programmes will change from a 2 dose to a one dose HPV vaccine schedule for eligible adolescents and gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM) aged under 25 years. In Scotland the change from 2 doses to one dose took place from 1 January 2023.

This letter provides further details and links to the supporting programme guidance and materials for health professionals who are responsible for commissioning and operationally delivering the programme.
