This report summarises hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in England up to 2021 and progress towards World Health Organization (WHO) elimination targets. It sets out available surveillance and programme data currently held along with providing recommendations of further work to be undertaken by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and stakeholders to achieve and sustain elimination by 2030.
