The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) has a statutory responsibility to investigate all reported allegations of maladministration in the key stage 2 National Curriculum tests, including the level 6 tests, English writing sample and science sampling tests. STA’s maladministration team is responsible for investigating these allegations. To carry out these investigations, the team works in partnership with local authorities.
