The government is clear that there is a continuing need to ensure that the reward package for its Senior Civil Service (SCS) will recruit, motivate and retain the very best capabilities for the future leadership needed in the Civil Service.

These two reports outline the evidence from the government to the Senior Salaries Review Body for 2014 to 2015, and for 2015 to 2016.
