The Global Clean Power Alliance Finance Mission was launched at the G20 summit by Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil in November 2024. The GCPA Finance Mission aims to scale clean energy investments in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDEs) in line with the Global Stocktake goals of tripling renewable energy capacity and doubling energy efficiency globally by 2030.
