The forensic social work capabilities framework is designed to build upon the generic requirements set out in the professional capabilities framework (PCF) for social workers.
The new capabilities, placed within the existing domains of the PCF, outline a framework for post-qualifying progression and development for social workers practising within forensic mental health settings.
