This evaluation strategy is meant to set out how we aim to obtain evidence of the effectiveness of the Life Chances Fund (LCF) as a whole, of the SIB mechanism employed, and of the individual projects that are funded by LCF.
It was written by the Government Outcomes Lab (GO Lab) and the Office for Civil Society in the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), with contributions from consultants ICF and advice from an Evaluation Advisory Group.
This publication is intended to be accessible by stakeholders involved in the LCF, other outcomes funds, researchers and the general public.
