Details
As part of an online application for a bat mitigation licence or a hazel dormouse mitigation licence, both the applicant and the named ecologist must agree to declarations to confirm that they are aware of and support the application.
The person who completes the online application will need to submit a signed declaration from the applicant, the named ecologist, or both. The declarations required depend on who completes the application.
Submit the right declaration
If the individual applicant completes the online application
They must submit the ecologist declaration.
If the named ecologist completes the online application
They must submit either the:

individual applicant declaration, if the applicant is an individual

company or organisation declaration, if the applicant is a company or organisation
If someone else completes the online application
They must submit the:

individual applicant declaration, if the applicant is an individual

company or organisation declaration, if the applicant is a company or organisation

To submit your declaration
- Download the relevant document or documents and save to your device.
- Make sure that each document is completed by the right person, with all the information that is asked for.
- Upload the completed document when prompted as part of your online application for a bat mitigation licence or a hazel dormouse mitigation licence.
