On 28 January 2026, the Secretary of State for Transport issued a movement direction to the Russian-flagged cargo vessel SINEGORSK under the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019.

The vessel was assessed as falling within the scope of UK transport sanctions and complied with the direction by leaving UK internal and territorial waters.
