The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) 2018-2022 scheme required obligated energy suppliers to deliver energy efficiency and heating measures to homes in Great Britain. The ECO3 scheme supported low income, vulnerable and fuel poor households.

This document provided information on the:

  • new demonstration actions
  • innovation score uplift
  • in-situ monitoring routes available in the new scheme

These routes were introduced to support new energy efficiency and heating products and to encourage obligated suppliers to deploy these under the ECO scheme.

The guidance provided information on the eligibility and safety criteria that products must meet to be delivered under ECO, and the incentives that the scheme provides to deploy these products.
