The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme requires obligated energy suppliers to deliver energy efficiency and heating measures to homes in Great Britain. The ECO3 scheme supports low income, vulnerable and fuel poor households.

This document provides information on the:

  • new demonstration actions
  • innovation score uplift
  • in-situ monitoring routes available in the new scheme

These routes have been introduced to support new energy efficiency and heating products and to encourage obligated suppliers to deploy these under the ECO scheme.

The guidance provides information on the eligibility and safety criteria that products must meet to be delivered under ECO, and the incentives that the scheme provides to deploy these products.
