Details

The Clean Growth Strategy set out an ambition to upgrade social housing to at least EPC Band C by 2030.

Currently, around half of socially rented homes meet or exceed this standard.

This study interviewed 40 social landlords and 8 retrofit suppliers about carrying out retrofits to social housing, the barriers that they faced, and ideas for potential solutions.

Suggestions included changing the application process for the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme.
