Details

The Secretary of State makes the modifications set out in this notice of the standard conditions of the electricity supply licence granted or treated as granted under section 6(1)(d) of the Electricity Act 1989. The modifications are made under section 21 of the Energy Prices Act 2022.

The effect of the modifications is to substitute a new version of standard condition 59 of the electricity supply licence. These modifications require suppliers to comply with directions given by the Secretary of State to establish schemes to provide payments to alternative fuel users.
