Draft Central Securities Depositories (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018

Draft statutory instrument, covering the onshoring of central securities depositories legislation, to be laid under the EU (Withdrawal) Act.

This SI addresses deficiencies in UK law and retained EU law related to central securities depositories to ensure that the UK continues to have a functioning financial services regime once the UK leaves the EU, in any scenario. The draft SI itself is provided, alongside an explanatory policy note. HM Treasury intends to lay this SI before Parliament before exit.
