Details
The revised direction for special educational needs (SEND) recognises the decision of the Secretary of State to appoint Deborah Glassbrook as SEND Commissioner for Slough Borough Council. This follows the revoked first SEND direction issued to Slough Borough Council.
The revised direction for children’s social care recognises the decision of the Secretary of State to appoint Jacqueline Wilson as Children’s Services Improvement Adviser for Slough Borough Council, and incorporates the area for priority action from Ofsted’s focused visit (published January 2026). This direction follows the revoked seventh direction issued to Slough Borough Council.
