Details

The fifth direction, dated May 2020, required Slough Borough Council to work with the Secretary of State and the Children’s Services Commissioner towards the establishment of a future operating model for the delivery of children’s services in Slough.

The fourth direction, dated October 2017, required Slough Children’s Services Trust to transfer their services for children with special educational needs (SEN) to Slough Borough Council.

These directions followed the now revoked 3rd direction and ministerial letter issued to the council.

These directions are now closed. A direction issued by the Department for Education on 1 April 2021 replaces them.
