This direction is closed. A revised direction issued by DfE in May 2022 replaces it.
This direction requires the council to co-operate with a commissioner appointed by the Secretary of State for Education. It follows Ofsted’s inspection report of North East Lincolnshire Council local authority children’s services published 26 November 2021 that judged services to be inadequate across all sub judgements.
