Details
This direction requires the council to take a number of steps to improve its children’s social care services. It follows publication on 19 October 2015 of an Ofsted report which judged the overall effectiveness of children’s services in Norfolk to be inadequate.
The direction also follows an earlier statutory direction issued to the council on 18 December 2013.
This direction has closed. A direction issued by DfE on 5 August 2016 replaces it.
