This direction was lifted on 19 January 2018.
This statutory direction required the council to co-operate with an adviser appointed by the Secretary of State for Education.
It followed the publication of:
- a report by Ofsted which judged the overall effectiveness of Norfolk’s children’s social care services as inadequate
- an independent report by Dave Hill, Norfolk Children’s Services Commissioner
