Details
SR2008 No 27 is a standard rules mobile plant permit. This permit allows you to operate mobile plant for the treatment of soils and contaminated material, substances or products.
Before you can deploy mobile plant to the site, you must:
- complete and submit a deployment form
- get agreement in writing from the Environment Agency
A mobile plant permit and a deployment is usually a short term operation and you can use it for:
- remediation of existing land contamination
- pollution incidents
The plant must be mobile and the treatment must be for recovery. Remediation can be in situ, ex situ or both.
