Details

Deep geological storage of CO2 is the secure containment of CO2 in carbon capture and storage (CCS) systems. This report provides a synthesis and estimation of the containment certainty of CO2 in deep geological storage sites, including leak rates, probabilities and durations.

BEIS commissioned a group of independent expert advisors to produce the report as part of its CCUS delivery programme.
