This letter gives consent to the mortgaging or charging of dues on ships under section 24 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1853. The letter concerns the harbour authorities of:

  • Birkenhead Port Limited
  • Heysham Port Limited
  • The Manchester Ship Canal Company Limited
  • The Mersey Docks and Harbour Company Limited
  • Port of Sheerness Limited
