This report presents the findings of research into information needs and preferences of people offered a choice between clinician-taken and self-sampling methods for human papillomavirus (HPV) testing in the the NHS Cervical Screening Programme.

The research was commissioned by the UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC), and delivered by Claremont, in partnership with the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen).
