The publication explains the training needed for medical staff to interpret liquid based cytology (LBC) microscopy slides.

Appendices

Healthcare professionals can use appendix 1 to get their training signed off by their:

  • training centre director
  • medical lead for cytology

Appendix 2 sets out a suggested induction course for LBC sampling.
