Caprine and ovine (live) model health certificates: version history

Applies to England, Scotland and Wales

Competent authorities in EU and non-EU countries must provide a health certificate to exporters of animals and animal products to Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

Competent authorities should use the updates below to make changes to health certificates for exporters to ensure they are in line with the current version of the model health certificates.

GBHC015X OVI-X (domestic sheep or goats for breeding or production) from non-EU countries 206/2010

Version 3.1 

Published September 2022:

  • This certificate will be accepted until 29 April 2024. This is the last date (inclusive) that this certificate will be accepted, based on the date it was signed, not the date the consignment arrives in Great Britain.
  • Notes: removed references to Part 1 of Annex 1 to Commission Regulation (EU) No 206/2010 in each place they occurred. Replaced with references to a document relating to ‘live ungulates’ published on GOV.UK, in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 206/2010
  • added a new footnote (11) with a link to a document on data.gov.uk
