This research was commissioned to evaluate the free breakfast clubs programme, focusing on its early adopter phase. It involved schools and parents as research participants.
The report offers recommendations for schools on running free breakfast clubs. It is based on interviews with parents that:
- use it
- do not use it
This is an interim report. In September 2026 we also published findings from a survey of parents on the programme.
We will publish further findings later in 2026.
