Details

This research project, delivered by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), conducted laboratory testing of domestic boilers. Its aims were to:

  • establish the scale of methane (and hydrogen blend) emissions from gas boilers
  • deliver empirical quantitative evidence for the methane emissions benefits of boiler policy changes which would address domestic boiler cycling
