This framework explains how Better Bus Areas (BBAs) should be monitored and evaluated.
- sets out DfT’s requirements for monitoring and evaluating BBAs and the roles of the department and project teams in delivering these
- reflects and builds on the proposals that bidders set out in their BBA applications around monitoring
- provides project teams with the flexibility to collect monitoring and evaluation evidence in a way that is proportionate and reflects the local variation of projects and data availability
The ‘BBA output reporting survey’ can be used to create a draft report, however all final output reports must be submitted through an online survey. BBAs will be contacted each year with details of where to find this survey.
